UNWAVERING

Happy New Year to all our friends and family!!! We are entering 2025 with renewed hope! God has been so faithful to us!! Thank you for being a demonstration of His love and His hands extended. Your encouragement, love, and prayers have literally carried us, sustained us, and positioned us to step into greater things in 2025!!
I believe this year holds tremendous opportunity in the midst of all that is happening. God is working all things together for our good! (Proverbs 19:21 AMP)
The word “stand” in this verse is translated other places as “arise.” This is a year when God’s plans will arise in our lives and over our families! For this to happen we must confidently stand in the purposes and plans of God for our lives and become unwavering in our confidence in Him!
UNWAVERING!! – is our theme for this year!
“The church has been in a season of contending. Many individuals have found themselves in a place of contending for their families, their ministries, their own hearts, and their destiny. 2025 will be a year of shifts. This is not a time to relax or withdraw due to weariness. We must not live distracted lives, numbed by the bombardment of constant input of information and scrolling. There is much more to be apprehended; and the enemy is mounting a new offensive. He will not relent in his designs on the next generation or his attempts to overthrow God’s plans. (Daniel 7:25)
The enemy seeks to change the good plans that God has for His people. He subtly works to move God’s people away from His will and best plans. It is a time to sharpen our discernment and attentively and intentionally pursue God and His will. This must be implemented individually and corporately, for families and churches. There is SO MUCH MORE! We must not settle for good when God’s best and highest is at stake.
We must remain unwavering in our reliance on God and His resources. We must shake off disappointment and dullness. Releasing disappointment will free us to have peace and receive grace to move forward. Our hope can then be revived for the plan God has for us! It’s always for His best – its’ always for our good – and it’s always His mercy!
We must settle some things in our own hearts and refuse to be moved off of God’s plans and purposes. This a daily choice, a settled mindset to be unwavering! Unwavering in our faith – unwavering in our joy – unwavering in our stance on the Word – unwavering in our love for people - and unwavering in our pursuit of God.
The church is at a historical crossroads – the harvest and dramatic change that is so needed in our societies will not be obtained through passivity. We must be unwavering in our commitment to walk in the purpose and position of victory that Jesus has obtained for us. This goes beyond self-motivation; but it resonates deep within our very being, the holy of holies of our souls, the dwelling place of God. There is no shadow of turning with Him and as we lean into Who is in us, we can become and remain unwavering.”
One of the best Scriptures that illustrate this inward posture is a passage out of 1 Corinthians 15. Paul instructs these believers to live out of their spirit rather than out of their flesh and responsive to their outward circumstances. (1 Corinthians 15:51-58)
Check out other translations to release even more revelation on this heart posture as we live out our lives in a fallen world.
The key to living out our lives successfully and remaining in the purposes of God is to remain unwavering! When unexpected things come our way – we remain steadfast and immoveable on what God’s Word says! When it seems like our hope is fading, we must allow what God says about us and our lives to reenergize our faith and be strengthened to be unwavering in our confidence in Him!
